WHY DIDN’T WE RUSH INTO FRANCHISING?

One of the questions we get asked most is, “Why did you wait so long to franchise?”

The answer is simple.

We weren’t interested in selling franchises until we believed we had built a business worth replicating.

Since opening Drizzl’d in 2021, our focus has never been on growing as quickly as possible. Instead, we’ve invested years refining our operations, documenting systems, strengthening our team, and creating an experience customers genuinely want to come back to.

That approach has produced results we’re incredibly proud of.

Our social media community now generates more than 1.8 million Instagram organic views across a typical 30-day period, helping introduce Drizzl’d to hundreds of thousands of potential customers without relying solely on paid advertising.

Behind the scenes, we’ve also achieved 22 months and 15 months of 100% staff retention, something rarely seen in hospitality. For us, it reflects the culture, systems, and leadership we’ve worked hard to build.

Perhaps the achievement we’re proudest of is that the business no longer depends on the owner, myself, being in the store every day.

A great business should operate because of its systems, not because one person is constantly putting out fires. Creating that level of consistency has been one of our biggest priorities, and it’s exactly what gives us confidence as we move into franchising.

We’re not looking for the largest franchise network.

We’re looking for the right franchise partners.

People who value community, understand that customer experience comes first, and want to build a business around quality, consistency, and genuine connection.

If you’ve been searching for a dessert franchise, a hospitality franchise, or a food franchise opportunity in Australia, we invite you to learn more about Drizzl’d and the journey that has brought us here.

Because great franchises aren’t built overnight.

They’re built on years of continuous improvement.

Delicious desserts and warm comforts is the natural way of life for me. Leading a busy life, I found that there is often a euphoric feeling that comes from indulging in a sweet treat that’s well deserved.
